Wow, what a fun day!
We celebrated Rudy's birthday with a luau in Sunset Park with his school friends. The weather was (as it has been for the last five years on this day) perfect and the company, delightful.
And there was cake! As my grandfather used to say, "Honey, any better and it'd be wrong!"
I'll write more seriously about the birthday boy after the official Turning of the Year on Wednesday, but for now, enjoy the pictures. (and thank you, Grandma, for the fantastic decorations!)
